Job Details
One of Boston's most recognized companies is looking for an Application Analyst for a critical project currently underway. This will be a year long contract with a high likelihood of extension.
You will help define and document system enhancements, configure application components and foundational data, and maintain accurate version control. The role includes developing and updating technical support materials, providing second-level application support, and troubleshooting issues related to functionality, configuration, and system integrations. You will manage user access provisioning, complete environment configurations such as release installations and database refreshes, and monitor critical batch processing jobs.
The ideal candidate is comfortable performing ad-hoc data queries and reports, supporting QA teams with application behavior insights, and collaborating with internal IT teams and vendors to resolve escalated issues. Professionalism, accuracy, and the ability to handle sensitive information are essential. This position requires participation in a 24/7 on-call rotation, flexibility to work various shifts and locations, and a commitment to delivering courteous, high-quality service to users and partners.

Required Skills & Experience
- System analysis for full SDLC of scheduling and operations applications
- Develop detailed specifications for system modifications
- Application configuration of data elements
- Develop and maintain technical support documentation, including troubleshooting procedures, runbooks, and system configuration guides.
- Second level support for application issues and system integrations
- Ability to be on call to resolve and escalate an application issues
- Perform detailed troubleshooting
- Ability to commute on site downtown Boston twice per week

- Pay rate up to $52hr
- 35 hour work weeks
