Requirements

7 or more years of experience in enterprise analytics engineering with at least 4 years dedicated to Looker platforms.

Proficiency in advanced LookML modeling, version control, and GitHub-based CI/CD deployment pipelines.

Experience with executing and integrating Looker APIs, including inline queries, SDKs, and administrative endpoints.

Experience in scripting user provisioning and identity access management leveraging Azure AD group synchronization.

Experience with migrating self-hosted analytics infrastructure to fully managed cloud ecosystems like Google-hosted Looker Core.

Experience with executing data platform validations across legacy and modern cloud data warehouses like Teradata and Snowflake.

Excellent communication skills to mentor technical staff, produce detailed runbooks, and facilitate knowledge transfer.
Responsibilities

Provide advanced L3/L4 production support and troubleshoot complex data modeling issues for a massive enterprise analytics platform.

Orchestrate and validate seamless system upgrades, patches, and release deployments across development and production environments.

Manage advanced API integrations to enable dynamic SQL generation and modern AI-driven analytics use cases.

Define strict test criteria and securely execute proof-of-concept migrations from customer-hosted to Google-hosted cloud infrastructure.

Standardize data modeling and validate query behaviors to support critical migrations from legacy databases to modern cloud platforms.

Enforce strict identity governance and automate user provisioning workflows leveraging enterprise directory synchronization.

Author comprehensive technical runbooks and deliver extensive mentoring to transition long-term platform ownership to internal engineering teams.
