This Senior Technician role is a hands-on position focused on bench and ATE execution, hardware bring-up, measurement reporting, and lab operations in support of PMIC design verification, new product introduction (NPI), and production support activities across the full product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute IC validation and characterization testing on bench and Automated Test Equipment (ATE) platforms for PMIC and Analog devices.
  • Set up, maintain, and debug bench test systems, PCBs, and supporting lab hardware.
  • Perform electrical measurements, process and analyze data, and clearly document results.
  • Partner closely with IC Design, Systems, Product, Bench, and Test Engineers to debug silicon, hardware, and test issues.

  • Calibrate and maintain bench test equipment and ensure measurement integrity and repeatability.
  • Support NPI and qualification activities, including correlation between bench, ATE, and manufacturing test environments.
  • Assist with high-volume manufacturing support, including yield excursions, test escapes, customer return (RMA) analysis, and debug activities.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of lab efficiency, safety, and best practices.

Required for this Role:
  • Associate's degree, or higher, in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals, including circuit analysis and hardware debug.
  • Ability to read and work from electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
  • Hands-on experience with common lab equipment: oscilloscopes, power supplies, electronic loads, spectrum/network analyzers, power meters, etc.
  • Working knowledge of PMIC and analog measurements, such as load/line regulation, PSRR, efficiency, power, jitter, and phase noise.
  • Familiarity with PCB bring-up, rework, and troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of engineering statistics and data interpretation.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills; able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and support schedule-driven execution in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Exposure to Automated Test Equipment (ATE), wafer probers, and device handlers.
  • Experience supporting new product introduction (NPI) or silicon qualification activities.
  • Experience with measurement automation or instrument control software (e.g., Python, C#, or similar).
  • Understanding of high-volume semiconductor manufacturing and production test flows.
  • Strong soldering and rework skills (fine-pitch components preferred).
  • Prior experience supporting PMIC, mixed-signal, or analog ASICs in a lab or manufacturing environment.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree.
OR
Associate's degree and 1+ year of Engineering Technician or related work experience.
OR
