Project Overview
The Office of Technology Services (OTS) was established as a means of recognizing cost savings through
the consolidation of State IT assets and resources. The creation of OTS consolidated a wide variety of
existing hardware platforms, operating systems, database management systems, networks, third-party
software, and custom applications.
OTS leads the State’s technology procurement process in order to standardize technology over the entire
organization, seek efficiencies of operations, maintenance, and scalability of new products introduced to
the OTS suite of services, which can eventually be offered to all in-scope agencies.
Duties/Responsibilities
• Development, administration & configuration of a custom-built .NET development project.
• Provide oversight and guidance of the customer-agency’s replacement software and make
performance improvements.
• Perform code reviews and testing on new code.
• Participation in all necessary team meetings and design sessions in accordance with Scrum
ceremonies.
• Cooperation with LDWF’s Technical Architect and other OTS technical teams to ensure compliance
with OTS standards of State applications
• Provide technical knowledge transfer, training, documentation, mentorship, and guidance to State
personnel for all requested work.
• Performs all other tasks, special projects, analysis, studies, and plans as directed.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field;
or equivalent professional experience.
Required Experience
• 5+ years of experience in C# development
• 5+ years of experience with ASP.NET Core
• 5+ years of experience working with Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL)
• 5+ years of experience in enterprise-level software development

• Familiarity with frameworks such as Vue, React, NodeJS, Angular, and Typescript.
• Experience designing and developing distributed systems (Microservices/SOA).
• Experience developing reports with SSRS or similar tools.
• Experience setting up, maintaining, and using DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and
automating tasks.
• Experience with the Git Version Control System, including branching strategies for complex systems
• Two (2) plus years of experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
