What you do:
Own the M365 E5 platform architecture - acting as product owner for the platform; setting the technology standards, configuration governance, and roadmap in collaboration with IT Security, Infrastructure, and Digital Workplace Engineering
Define and maintain a prioritised platform backlog - translating business requests, security requirements, and Microsoft product updates into a clear, sequenced roadmap that stakeholders can understand and hold the team accountable to
Lead the end-user automation programme - identifying high-value repetitive workflows across the business and working with teams to build and adopt Power Automate flows, Power Apps, and native M365 automation capabilities that return time to employees
Architect and govern Defender for Office 365 and Entra ID P2 - Conditional Access, Identity Protection, Privileged Identity Management - to reduce attack surface while maintaining a seamless sign-in experience for all users
Design and deliver adoption programmes that maximise return on the E5 licence investment - working with HR, Communications, and business leads to build digital capability and drive measurable changes in how people work
Govern E5 licensing - track utilisation, identify optimisation opportunities, and provide quarterly reporting to IT leadership on licence spend vs. capability activation to eliminate waste
Partner with the Digital Workplace Engineering team to ensure platform architectural decisions translate into reliable, well-supported operational services - bridging the gap between roadmap and day-to-day administration
Maintain awareness of the Microsoft product roadmap and translate upcoming changes into proactive platform recommendations for leadership - preventing surprises and identifying capabilities before the business asks for them

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $80.00/hr.
