Job Description

An MSBI Developer is responsible for building, enhancing, and supporting Business Intelligence solutions using Microsoft BI technologies, with a strong focus on SSIS and Microsoft Fabric. The role involves data integration, data modeling, and delivering reliable analytics solutions for business users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines using SSIS and Microsoft Fabric Data Factory
  • Integrate data from multiple sources into data warehouses and lake houses
  • Build and manage Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse/Warehouse solutions
  • Develop datasets and reports using Power BI within Fabric
  • Optimize SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and data models
  • Ensure data quality, performance, and scalability of BI solutions
  • Provide production support and resolve data-related issues
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather reporting requirements

Required Skills

  • Strong experience with SQL Server
  • Hands-on experience with SSIS, SSRS and SSAS
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric (Data Factory, Lakehouse, Warehouse)
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts (facts, dimensions, star schema)
  • Experience with Power BI and basic DAX
  • Knowledge of ETL, data validation, and performance tuning
