We are seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Integration & Systems Developer to provide technical leadership for enterprise payroll integrations, automation initiatives, and system optimization efforts within the Infor HRT Payroll environment. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex integration solutions that support accurate payroll processing, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and system reliability.
The successful candidate will collaborate with Payroll, Finance, Human Resources, and external vendors to deliver scalable technical solutions, improve business processes, and support ongoing platform enhancements.
Primary Responsibilities
Integration Architecture & Development
Design, develop, and maintain enterprise integrations utilizing Infor Process Automation (IPA), Infor ION APIs, Infor OS, and related technologies.
Create and support interfaces between Infor Payroll and external applications, including timekeeping, banking, tax, benefits, and other third-party systems.
Develop technical specifications, data mappings, transformation rules, and interface documentation.
Monitor integration performance and troubleshoot failures, leveraging tools such as Async and Work Units to identify and resolve issues.
Implement enhancements that improve integration reliability, scalability, and performance.
Payroll Application Support
Provide advanced technical support for payroll processing activities, including payroll cycles, retroactive payments, garnishments, adjustments, and year-end compliance reporting.
Support regulatory reporting requirements such as W-2 processing, ACA reporting, and IRS submission activities.
Work closely with Payroll subject matter experts and business leaders to investigate issues, validate results, and deploy improvements.
Participate in payroll-related configuration changes, testing activities, and production releases.
Solution Analysis & Technical Design
Convert business and operational requirements into secure, scalable technical solutions.
Evaluate the impact of system modifications, upgrades, and new integration initiatives.
Produce and maintain technical documentation including architecture diagrams, support guides, testing plans, and functional specifications.
Recommend process improvements and automation opportunities that enhance system efficiency.
Project Delivery & Stakeholder Collaboration
Lead technical efforts for payroll system enhancements and integration projects.
Collaborate with Payroll, Finance, HR, IT, and vendor teams to ensure successful project execution.
Serve as a key technical resource during implementation, troubleshooting, and post-deployment support activities.
Coordinate with Infor and third-party partners to address complex technical challenges and adopt best practices.
Compliance, Controls & Quality Assurance
Ensure payroll integrations and system processes comply with internal controls, security standards, audit requirements, and applicable regulations.
Support data validation, reconciliation, and governance initiatives.
Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, and production verification activities.
Assist with release management and ongoing system maintenance efforts.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or a related discipline; equivalent experience may be considered.
Minimum of five (5) years of hands-on experience supporting Infor CloudSuite Payroll (GHR Payroll) within Infor FSM/HRT environments.
Strong experience working with:
Infor Process Automation (IPA)
Infor OS
Infor APIs
Replication Sets
Enterprise integration frameworks
Solid understanding of payroll operations, payroll data structures, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Experience supporting mission-critical production systems and complex enterprise integrations.
Working knowledge of HR, Benefits, Time & Attendance, and Finance modules.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working within cloud-based environments, preferably AWS.
Infor certifications related to FSM, HRT, Landmark, or Infor OS.
Prior experience leading enterprise payroll integration or transformation initiatives.
