Job DetailsThe Technical Sales Specialist serves as the primary technical liaison between the sales team and prospective clients. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth by translating complex product capabilities into clear business value. The position manages the full technical sales cycle, including discovery, requirements gathering, product demonstrations, solution design, and technical consultation.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop relationships with existing customers and identify opportunities with prospective clients.
- Create and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations for potential customers.
- Provide technical expertise to support sales teams with pricing, estimates, and implementation recommendations.
- Analyze customer requirements and technical specifications to recommend appropriate solutions and implementation strategies.
- Address technical questions and concerns throughout the sales process to build customer confidence.
- Collaborate with internal technical and marketing teams to provide customer feedback and product enhancement recommendations.
- Support product deployment and implementation activities as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in technical sales, systems engineering, solutions consulting, or customer-facing technical support.
- Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and documentation to develop accurate estimates and recommendations.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and project management abilities.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
