DescriptionOmnicell is a healthcare technology company dedicated to transforming medication management and improving patient safety across health systems and pharmacies. Their solutions combine automation, software, and data to help customers deliver safer and more efficient care.
Position overview
Omnicell is seeking an individual to backfill a critical role supporting major enterprise initiatives, including an ERP modernization to SAP S/4HANA and multiple customer-experience-focused enhancements. This role plays a key part in enabling scalable, efficient finance and sales processes as Omnicell continues to grow.
This is a hybrid role with a strong preference for candidates who can work onsite 2-3 days per week in Milpitas, CA; Cranberry Township, PA; or St. Petersburg, FL. Flexibility may be considered for highly qualified candidates.
From Manager- Previous candidates were not selected due to gaps in hands-on SAP SD configuration experience, as they were stronger on requirements gathering than direct system configuration. Others lacked sufficient depth in SAP SD and Finance integration to independently support complex ERP and customer-impacting initiatives. The primary project is an enterprise SAP ERP modernization, including supporting and extending the transition from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA, with a strong focus on SAP SD and finance integration.
In parallel, the role supports customer-impacting initiatives such as consolidating invoicing, improving billing visibility for customers, and delivering ongoing SAP enhancements driven by internal finance and sales stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
Lead requirements gathering, analysis, design, and hands-on configuration of SAP SD solutions across ECC and S/4HANA environments
Support large-scale initiatives including SAP ERP upgrades, SAP S/4HANA adoption, and related finance and revenue processes
Partner closely with Finance, Sales, and internal stakeholders to improve customer experience through initiatives such as invoice consolidation, improved customer visibility, and process enhancements
Facilitate business workshops, process design sessions, and solution blueprinting
Produce functional design documents, gap analyses, configuration documentation, and user guides
Perform unit and integration testing and support deployments
Provide functional expertise for SAP integrations with non-SAP systems using IDOCs, ALE, and related technologies
Recommend improvements aligned with SAP best practices and long-term systems architecture
Support end users during project phases and ensure smooth transition to support teams
