TRN Systems Inc. is seeking a qualified individual to join our team as a Business Analyst to support a critical project for our client, a state government agency. This individual will be part of a delivery team helping elicit and document standard Business Analysis documentation in preparation for a government modernization project.

Activities:

  • Facilitating meetings with business SMEs to evaluate current state processes and identify future state improvements
  • Documenting current state processes and future state high-level processes, including diagrams and accompanying descriptive text
  • Documenting business and functional requirements, including federal/state-mandated requirements
  • Coordinating with peer Business Analysts on the creation, review, and finalization of project artifacts
  • Coordinating with the Project Management team to maintain well-organized working documents and deliverables

Requirements:

  • Experience analyzing state taxation and financial processes, specifically collections, audit, taxpayer, and revenue accounting.
  • A bachelor s degree in computer science or a related field.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in business analysis.
  • The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
  • Proven experience creating Business Process and Functional Requirements deliverables.
  • Proven experience facilitating meetings with stakeholders to elicit business process and requirements knowledge.
  • Experience creating reports and giving presentations.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications, including SharePoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a self-directed manner.
