Description: Our client is currently seeking a Desktop Support Specialist
Seeking a Desktop Support Specialist to provide onsite IT support, office infrastructure support, asset management, and technical assistance. The role requires hands-on experience supporting end-user devices, network infrastructure, workplace technologies, and hardware lifecycle management.
Key Responsibilities End User Support
- Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals across Windows, macOS, and Linux environments.
- Provision, deploy, replace, and decommission IT devices.
- Provide onsite technical support and coordinate escalations with Level 2 teams.
Infrastructure Support
- Support office IT infrastructure, including network connectivity, printers, AV systems, and workplace technologies.
- Perform basic installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of switches, routers, access points, and related equipment.
- Coordinate with vendors and support teams during maintenance, repairs, and incidents.
- Maintain accurate incident documentation and support compliance activities.
Asset Management
- Receive, register, image, deploy, track, and audit IT assets.
- Manage inventory, warranty repairs, device redeployment, and secure asset disposal.
- Maintain accurate asset records and support audit requirements.
Project Support
- Assist with office moves, hardware refreshes, technology deployments, and other site-based IT projects.
- Support business events, demonstrations, and onsite technical activities as needed.
