A high-growth SaaS organization operating at global scale is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to take ownership of its cloud platform and infrastructure ecosystem from end to end.
Supporting a platform that powers millions of customer interactions, this role will be responsible for driving the strategy, reliability, scalability, observability, and continuous evolution of the organization's Kubernetes and AWS environments. You will work across the full platform lifecycle, influencing architecture, automation, operational excellence, and engineering standards while partnering closely with development and product teams.
The environment leverages AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, GitLab, ArgoCD, and a broad observability stack, with a strong emphasis on automation, platform engineering, and operational resilience.
Required Skills & Experience - Deep expertise with AWS services such as EKS, EC2, RDS, and CloudFront.
- Advanced production experience designing, operating, and scaling Kubernetes environments, combined with strong Infrastructure as Code expertise using Terraform.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience building and maintaining Kubernetes Operators from the ground up using Golang or Python, alongside strong proficiency with GitLab CI, ArgoCD, Helm, and automation scripting.
Desired Skills & Experience - Observability and monitoring solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, and CloudWatch, including alerting, anomaly detection, and platform health analysis.
- Experience with service mesh technologies, traffic routing, DNS management, edge networking, and content delivery platforms such as Linkerd and Cloudflare.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security architecture, IAM governance, incident response leadership, and cloud cost optimization methodologies.
