Job Title: Senior IT Project Manager IV (Privacy & Enterprise Compliance)

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and accomplished Senior IT Project Manager IV to lead the concurrent management of one or more complex, high-impact IT and regulatory initiatives. In this role, you will take ownership of projects ranging from $100,000 to $10,000,000 in budget, with a specialized focus on driving critical Consumer Privacy and Cookie compliance project execution, software deployments, and cross-functional technology solutions.

This is a senior-level leadership position for an independent project management expert who excels in matrixed environments. You will direct project teams, forecast financial performance, establish robust schedules, and ensure rigorous adherence to scope, cost, and quality objectives. If you possess deep expertise in IT project governance and privacy compliance frameworks, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Execution
Lifecycle Management: Lead the concurrent planning and execution of complex, multi-task IT projects with clearly defined scopes, budgets ($100k-$10M), and performance milestones.
Privacy & Compliance Focus: Drive specialized initiatives focusing on Consumer Privacy, cookie compliance, data governance, and regulatory alignment.
Team Direction: Define project requirements, staff project teams, communicate clear roles and expectations, and provide leadership and technical coaching to project analysts and schedulers.
Schedule & Resource Control: Develop and maintain detailed work plans and schedules; monitor critical milestones; accurately forecast resource, material, and contractor costs using standard portfolio tools.

Governance, Financials & Stakeholder Communication
Financial Management: Exercise independent judgment to track budgets, assess project performance, and implement changes to ensure projects remain strictly within cost, schedule, and scope parameters.
Risk & Issue Mitigation: Record, track, and communicate project issues, risks, and status reports within standard enterprise tools.
Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary liaison to project sponsors, vendors, and key clients, delivering transparent status reports and fostering productive working relationships.
Audit Readiness: Prepare comprehensive project documentation for closure, archiving, and regulatory auditing activities with a high standard of technical accuracy.

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
Experience Baseline: Minimum of 8+ years of professional experience managing complex IT product/software development cycles or enterprise technical projects.
Mandatory Certification:
oActive Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
Technical & Functional Mastery:
oProven experience managing regulatory initiatives, specifically Consumer Privacy and Cookie compliance projects.
oExpertise in IT professional service agreements, workforce planning, and materials logistics.
oAdvanced understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and financial forecasting.
Core Competencies: Excellent oral and written communication skills; strong collaboration, negotiation, and risk-management acumen; proven ability to lead effectively in a matrixed organization.

Preferred Attributes
Advanced degree (Master's in Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent).
Specialized project management certifications from accredited programs (e.g., Stanford Advanced Project Management Certificate).
Proficiency with enterprise project portfolio management tools (e.g., HP PPMC) and IT methodologies.
