Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Lead Business Analyst with SAP experience to bridge business and technical teams. The candidate will analyze business needs, document functional requirements, identify process improvements, and work closely with stakeholders, development, and QA teams throughout the SDLC.

Key Responsibilities

1. Analyze current cross-functional business processes and recommend improvements.
2. Evaluate AS-IS vs. TO-BE processes and identify gaps.
3. Conduct requirement elicitation, gathering, analysis, and documentation.
4. Create business, system, functional/non-functional, and data-mapping requirements.
5. Develop UML diagrams, workflow documentation, and user journey maps.
6. Prepare Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTM) and Gap Analysis documents.
7. Conduct requirement review sessions and obtain stakeholder approval/sign-off.
8. Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications.
9. Communicate requirements effectively to leadership, developers, QA, and business stakeholders.
10. Identify and manage project risks, dependencies, and business issues.
11. Work directly with clients to understand business needs and pain points.
12. Prepare and support test cases based on functional requirements.
13. Write intermediate SQL queries for testing, reporting, and data validation.
14. Use JIRA to track and manage requirements throughout the SDLC.
15. Analyze solution options based on feasibility, cost, and business alignment.
16. Tackle complex business problems and recommend innovative solutions.
17. Leverage AI tools and technologies to improve productivity and business outcomes.

Required Skills

1. 5 6+ years of hands-on Business Analyst / Business Systems Analyst
2. Strong experience in requirements gathering and functional analysis.
3. Experience with SAP applications.
4. Knowledge of SAP Interfaces, ALE/IDOC, BAPI, and RFC.
5. Strong understanding of AS-IS / TO-BE process analysis and GAP analysis.
6. Experience creating BRD/FRD, RTM, functional specifications, and process documentation.
7. Strong SQL skills for data validation and testing.
8. Hands-on experience with JIRA.
9. Experience working across business, development, and QA teams.
10. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
11. Knowledge of AI technologies and practical enterprise use cases.
12. Ability and willingness to adopt AI tools to improve business processes.
