Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP Functional Consultant Master Data (MTD) to lead the design, governance, and management of master data across SAP systems. The role focuses on ensuring data consistency, quality, and standardization to support end-to-end business processes across Finance, Sales, Procurement, and Supply Chain.

Key Responsibilities

SAP Master Data Functional Responsibilities

• Lead and manage SAP Master Data (MTD)processes, including:

o Business Partner (Customer / Vendor)

o Material Master

o Finance Master Data (Chart of Accounts, Cost Centers, Profit Centers)

o Pricing, Condition, and Reference Data

• Define master data standards, naming conventions, and validation rules.
• Design and support master data governance models and approval workflows.
• Configure and support SAP MDGor standard SAP master data maintenance processes.
• Ensure harmonization of master data across OTC, PTP, RTR, and SCMprocesses.
• Perform impact analysis of master data changes across integrated SAP modules.
• Support master data creation, change, and retirement processes.

Project & Support Responsibilities

• Act as the Master Data SMEfor SAP implementations, rollouts, and enhancements.
• Gather and document business requirements and translate them into functional designs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate master data integration.
• Support testing activities (SIT, UAT) related to master data and integrations.
• Provide go-live and post-go-live support, including issue resolution and optimization.
• Prepare functional documentation, data models, and training materials.

Stakeholder & Leadership Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to improve data quality and governance maturity.
• Mentor junior consultants and master data analysts.
• Support audits, compliance, and reporting requirements related to master data.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor s degree in Information Systems, Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience as an SAP Master Data / MTD Functional Consultant.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANAmaster data objects.
• Solid understanding of master data dependencies across SAP modules.
• Experience working on SAP implementations, rollouts, or transformation programs.
• Strong communication, analytical, and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAP MDG (Master Data Governance).
• Exposure to S/4HANA Business Partner model.
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and data lifecycle management concepts.
• Experience in global or multi-country SAP environments.
• SAP MDG or S/4HANA certification.

Soft Skills
