Overview:This position is responsible for providing technical support for COTS (Custom Off the Shelf) packages.
Will maintain various COTS applications and help configure changes as required for some SAAS products. To serve in this capacity this position should have thorough analytical skills and extensive experience with Windows and Linux operating systems, monitoring, networks, firewalls, architecture including diagraming, remediating vulnerabilities and other application and server support duties.
Responsibilities: - Install and configure systems and application components on Windows and Linux environments.
- Gather and document requirements.
- Research and present options.
- Analyze and recommend solutions for both ongoing application changes and new efforts.
- Maintain various COTS applications.
- Help configure changes as required for some SAAS products.
- Support Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Support monitoring, networks, firewalls, and architecture including diagraming.
- Remediate vulnerabilities.
- Perform other application and server support duties.
- Ensure application and infrastructure security following Federal, State and industry standards.
- Collaborate with vendors, customers, and other technical areas to understand and execute projects and changes timely.
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in the following: - Install and configure systems and application components on Windows and Linux environments.
- Gather and document requirements, researching and presenting options, analyzing and recommending solutions for both ongoing application changes and new efforts.

- Analytical skills and extensive experience with Windows and Linux operating systems, monitoring, networks, firewalls, architecture including diagraming, remediating vulnerabilities and other application and server support duties.
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience implementing and configuring applications in Azure Cloud infrastructure, proficiency in Azure services, containerization, and IAC (3-5 years).
