Summary

SalesFocus Solutions ( is a fintech leader serving the business needs of financial services companies. We are looking for a highly motivated, results-driven business development/sales representative to actively seek out and engage prospects in the asset management industry.

Duties
  1. The position is responsible for understanding the MARS Master Data Management (MDM) and Distribution Intelligence solution ( and its value proposition, the asset management industry landscape, our competitive advantages, and formulating solution proposals that address the prospect's business needs. Some of the position responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, prospecting through email campaigns and calls, qualifying prospects, building relationships with prospects, building and maintaining a sales pipeline, and driving new business through the sales process, including providing presentations and demos of the MARS system and negotiating/closing MARS SaaS agreements with C-level executives. Proven experience and track record of selling products and services, especially to C-level decision-makers in asset management organizations, is essential.


Qualifications
  1. Proven experience and track record with selling software-related products and services, especially to C-level decision makers in asset management organizations, especially firms Mutual Funds, ETFs, Model Portfolios, SMA, CITs, etc;
  2. Responsible for the entire sales cycle, including generating leads, qualifying prospects, performing product demonstrations, contract negotiation, and closing opportunities;
  3. Develop a thorough knowledge of the MARS product suite and services to be able to communicate solid arguments to prospective customers as to the business benefits of using our products and services;
  4. Develop and deliver sales presentations tailored to the prospective customer's needs;
  5. Strong product demonstration and presentation skills; must be able to demo the product suite and communicate the product features and business value to prospects;
  6. Negotiating SaaS agreements;
  7. Proven track record in identifying and closing new business opportunities;
  8. Ability to independently direct activities to close business opportunities;
  9. Strong negotiating and closing skills;
  10. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively;
  11. Team player with a high degree of enthusiasm for technology sales;
  12. Keep abreast of the asset management industry and technology trends
  13. Asset Management industry experience is essential;
  14. Excellent negotiation skills with an ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  15. Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms is highly desirable
  16. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders;
