A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring Nuclear Med Tech

Position type: Full-time Contract
Duration: 13 Weeks
Location: Round Rock, TX
Work Schedule: 5x8s, Mon-Fri, 0730-1600, Call required

As a Nuclear Med Tech, you will:

• Perform high?quality Nuclear Medicine, PET, PET/CT, and theranostic procedures (planar, SPECT, SPECT/CT) according to established exam protocols and quality assurance standards.
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment safely, performing required quality control (QC) and coordinating with engineers/physicists to ensure optimal functionality.
• Prepare and educate patients about procedures, ensure safety, use proper aseptic/sterile techniques, and assess patient ability to tolerate exams.
• Safely administer radiopharmaceuticals and adjunctive medications, verify correct radioactive drugs, and follow all radiation safety and disposal protocols.
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams, maintain supply inventory, order radiopharmaceuticals, and ensure accurate image transfer to PACS.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Active ARRT (N) or CNMT certification.
• Valid BLS (AHA only) certification.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• • Minimum 1 year of experience in Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT modalities.
  • Strong ability to work independently, remain calm under stress, and communicate effectively with patients and clinical partners.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Weekly Gross *: $2900 - $3000 
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
