Job Summary
An Application Developer with expertise in IBM Mainframe zOS environments possesses a strong foundation in core zOS skills, such as VSAM, JCL, REXX, TSO/ISPF, and Mainframe tools. They also have a proficiency in at least one language skill, such as COBOL, PL/1, or Assembler, and a database skill, such as DB2 or IMS-DB. Additionally, they may have experience in transaction processing skills like CICS or IMS-DC. This skill set enables them to develop, maintain, and support applications in the zOS environment effectively.

Required skills:

5+ years of experience in mainframe applications, with healthcare claims processing knowledge is preferred.
Analyse business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and mainframe program logic.
Design, develop, and maintain COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, and VSAM-based CA-MMIS mainframe applications.
Perform unit, integration, and regression testing.
Test automation tools like Selenium.
