Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Financial Cloud Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Accounts Receivable (AR), Cash Management (CM), and General Ledger (GL). The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, testing, and supporting Oracle Fusion Financials solutions while collaborating with business stakeholders to deliver high-quality financial system solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into Oracle Fusion Financials solutions.
- Configure and implement Oracle Fusion modules including:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Cash Management (CM)
- Design Chart of Accounts, Accounting Calendars, Ledgers, and Legal Entities.
- Configure Receivables including transaction types, receipt methods, customer profiles, auto-accounting, lockbox, and collections.
- Configure Cash Management including bank accounts, bank statement processing, cash positioning, reconciliation, and cash forecasting.
- Configure General Ledger including journals, allocations, approval workflows, financial reporting, and period close activities.
- Support end-to-end implementation, upgrades, rollouts, and production support.
- Perform Functional Design Document (FDD) preparation and review.
- Work closely with technical teams for integrations, reports, and extensions.
- Execute SIT, UAT, and regression testing.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Conduct user training and prepare end-user documentation.
- Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including AP, FA, Procurement, Projects, and Tax.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion Financials Cloud.
- Hands-on experience in:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Cash Management (CM)
- Expertise in financial accounting processes and best practices.
- Experience with AutoAccounting, Receipt Processing, Lockbox, and Revenue Recognition.
- Experience in Bank Statement Reconciliation and Cash Positioning.
- Knowledge of Subledger Accounting (SLA).
- Understanding of Oracle Financial Reporting Center (FRC), OTBI, and BI Publisher.
- Experience with Oracle BPM approvals.
- Familiarity with REST/SOAP integrations and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Oracle Fusion Financials Cloud Certification is preferred.
- CA, CMA, CPA, or MBA (Finance) is an added advantage.
Experience
- 5 10+ years of ERP implementation experience.
- 3 7+ years of hands-on Oracle Fusion Financials Cloud experience.
- Experience in at least 2 3 end-to-end Oracle Fusion Cloud implementations.
- Experience with support, enhancement, and rollout projects is preferred.
