Position Summary

A consumer-focused organization is seeking an experienced Digital Designer / Email Developer to design, build, and deploy a wide range of email marketing campaigns, including promotional, triggered, and transactional communications. This role works closely with cross-functional teams such as Email Marketing, CRM, Loyalty, and Digital Design to deliver high-quality, on-brand email experiences using modern marketing automation and personalization platforms.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects independently while meeting tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build email campaigns using marketing automation and personalization platforms

• Develop and optimize promotional, triggered, transactional, and journey-based email campaigns

• Edit, troubleshoot, and refine email designs and code during the proofing and deployment process

• Ensure all creative and technical work adheres to brand guidelines and design standards

• Collaborate with Email Marketing and cross-functional teams to align on campaign schedules and requirements

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines

• Stay current on email marketing best practices, ESP capabilities, and emerging technologies

• Deliver creative and innovative solutions to enhance campaign performance and engagement

• Contribute to continuous process improvements and adapt to evolving business needs

Required Qualifications

• 3 5+ years of experience in digital design and email development

• Bachelor s degree in Design, Media Arts, or a related field

• Strong portfolio demonstrating email and digital design work

• Proficiency with email service providers (ESP) and personalization tools

• Experience with data integrations and APIs

• Hands-on experience building triggered, transactional, and journey-based email campaigns

• Advanced proficiency with tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Dreamweaver (or similar), CMS platforms, and project management tools

• Strong technical skills in AMPscript, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

• Detail-oriented, efficient, and creative problem-solver

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently

• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal teams and external partners

• Experience in e-commerce or retail environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Video editing or animation experience
