Job Title: Application Developer III
Location: Jackson, MS (Onsite)
Duration: 12 Months
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (40 hours/week, occasional overtime)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Application Developer III to support a large-scale enterprise application initiative. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in C#, Microsoft Azure, and modern DevOps practices, along with hands-on experience in application development, testing, and data integration. This is a fully onsite role based in Jackson, MS.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using C# and .NET technologies
- Develop and integrate APIs using JSON, YAML, and JavaScript frameworks
- Deploy and manage applications within Microsoft Azure environments
- Perform database development, including SQL Server, data modeling, and migration
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
- Execute unit, integration, and performance testing
- Support UAT, test case development, and data validation processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and refine requirements
- Maintain code quality and version control using Git
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance
Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of experience in C#/.NET development
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure and cloud-based solutions
- Experience with JavaScript, JSON, and YAML
- Proficiency in SQL Server and database development
- Experience with data modeling, schema design, APIs, and data migration
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps
- Strong knowledge of Git or other version control systems
- Experience in unit testing, integration testing, and manual testing
- Strong understanding of UAT support, test case design, and performance testing
- Experience working in Windows Server environments
Preferred Skills
- Experience with z/OS and ADABAS databases
- Familiarity with virtual machines and enterprise server environments
- Experience supporting government or public sector projects
- Exposure to legacy system integration
Education Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
