Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Python AWS Technical Lead with strong hands-on experience in Python development, AWS cloud services, API development, and cloud-native architecture.

The ideal candidate will lead backend engineering efforts, mentor developers, architect scalable AWS solutions, and drive engineering best practices while ensuring secure, high-performing application delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead solution design and development of scalable backend applications.
  • Develop and optimize Python-based applications and automation solutions.
  • Design and deploy AWS cloud-native applications.
  • Build and maintain API services and integrations.
  • Perform API testing using Bruno.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and GitHub Actions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application and infrastructure issues.
  • Create technical documentation for APIs, applications, and architecture.
  • Conduct code reviews and mentor development teams.
  • Establish engineering standards and best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • 6 8+ years of experience in Python development.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in:
    • Python
    • Pandas
    • NumPy
  • Extensive AWS experience:
    • Lambda
    • S3
    • DynamoDB
    • Storage Gateway
    • SNS
  • Strong API development and integration experience.
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Bruno
    • Splunk
    • PyTest
  • Experience building and deploying applications on AWS.
  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture and scalability concepts.
  • Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with React.js development.
  • Exposure to BFSI or Capital Markets environments.
  • Experience with PySpark.
  • Experience leading technical teams and mentoring developers.
