SAP Lead HANA Consultant

The SAP Lead HANA Consultant will play a pivotal role in our team, leading the implementation and management of SAP HANA solutions. This position requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in SAP ECC 6.0 and S/4HANA environments, specifically tailored to government and nonprofit IT procurement activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of SAP solutions, ensuring they meet the highest standards of performance and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of SAP HANA solutions, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior consultants and developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
• Conduct thorough analysis of business requirements and translate them into technical specifications, ensuring optimal system performance.
• Oversee the testing and deployment of SAP solutions, ensuring all systems meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including technical specifications, user manuals, and training materials.
• Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in SAP HANA and related fields, recommending and implementing improvements as necessary.

Requirements

• At least five (5) years of experience working within SAP ECC version 6.0 environments.
• At least three (3) years of experience supporting government and/or nonprofit IT procurement activities.
• At least three (3) years of experience working with iterative or hybrid software design, development, and implementation.
• At least three (3) years of experience working within SAP S/4HANA.

• Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of guiding teams to success.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven experience in project management, including budget management and resource allocation.
• Certification in SAP HANA or related technologies is highly desirable.
• Experience with cloud-based SAP solutions and migration projects is a plus.
