Job Description
Client is on a mission to build a world-class, AI-ready GTM platform ecosystem that powers personalized learner and customer experiences across all of its brands, business units, and geographies. To get there, we need an enterprise architect who thinks in decades, builds in sprints, and operates with a 10X mindset.
This is not a purely Salesforce role. It is a senior enterprise architecture position that requires deep Salesforce technical expertise as its foundation, combined with the breadth to design, govern, and evolve the full SaaS platform landscape. You will own the architecture of Colibri’s GTM technology ecosystem: from CRM, commerce, and marketing automation to integration fabric, data platforms, identity, security, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and AI.
You will be the authoritative technical voice on platform scalability, resilience, and long-term viability — partnering with product, engineering, marketing, finance, and executive leadership to align every architectural decision to business outcomes. If you thrive at the intersection of bold vision and disciplined execution, this role was built for you.
Must have:
· 12+ years in enterprise software architecture, with at least 7 years as a Salesforce Technical Architect.
· Demonstrated track record as a full-scope Enterprise Architect — owning architecture across application, integration, data, security, and infrastructure domains simultaneously.
· Deep, hands-on Salesforce platform expertise: Apex, LWC, Flow, OmniStudio, Platform Events, Data Cloud, and the Salesforce security and sharing model.
· Proven experience across multiple Salesforce clouds: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Data Cloud.
· Hands-on experience designing and governing enterprise integrations using Boomi, MuleSoft, or a comparable iPaaS platform at scale.
· Strong experience with API management, event-driven architecture, Change Data Capture, and streaming integration patterns.
· Experience designing scalability, high-availability, and disaster recovery architectures for SaaS platform ecosystems.
· Solid understanding of at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) and how it underpins SaaS resilience, scalability, and security.
· Experience defining DevOps, CI/CD, and release management practices for Salesforce and enterprise SaaS platforms.
· Familiarity with enterprise data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks) and modern data architecture patterns (lakehouse, data mesh, data fabric).
· Proven ability to lead architecture governance: establishing standards, running ARBs, and influencing technical direction across multiple teams and business units.
· Excited about and actively using AI tools — including AI code assistants, GenAI models, and automation platforms — as a core part of your architectural practice.
Nice to have:
Preferred
· Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) — or actively pursuing CTA.
· Salesforce Application Architect and/or System Architect certification.
· Cloud-specific Salesforce certifications (Sales, Service, Commerce, Marketing, Data Cloud, Integration Architect).
· Boomi Architect, MuleSoft Integration Architect, or equivalent iPaaS certification.
· Familiarity with TOGAF, Zachman, or a comparable enterprise architecture framework.
· Experience in ed-tech, professional licensing, e-commerce, or other high-volume, regulated SaaS environments.
Experience implementing Salesforce Agentforce, Einstein AI, or comparable AI platform capabilities.
Technical Skills (Required & Preferred):
Salesforce certifications (Commerce Cloud highly preferred, but flexible).
Experience with AI / Automation tools:
Claude, Agentforce, Einstein, or similar
Building agents and automation strategies
Exposure to GTM systems and workflows (marketing, revenue operations).
Background in B2B and/or B2C environments."
