Job Title: IAM Engineer
Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid)
Duration: 12 months
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Software Developer III with strong expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM) to design, implement, and maintain enterprise IAM solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience with identity lifecycle management, Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), application integration, and privileged access management. This role involves building secure identity solutions, onboarding enterprise applications, and supporting ongoing IAM operations and enhancements.
Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain enterprise IAM solutions.
  • Configure and manage centralized Identity Providers (IdP).
  • Implement Single Sign-On (SSO) using SAML 2.0 and OpenID Connect (OIDC).
  • Configure and manage Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
  • Develop Joiner, Mover, and Leaver (JML) identity lifecycle workflows.
  • Integrate enterprise applications with IAM platforms using REST APIs.
  • Design and implement Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) models.
  • Deploy and support Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions.
  • Configure credential vaulting, password rotation, and Just-in-Time (JIT) provisioning.
  • Troubleshoot provisioning issues, authentication failures, and connectivity problems.
  • Perform system maintenance, monitoring, and performance tuning.
  • Onboard new business applications into the IAM platform.
  • Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams to deliver IAM solutions.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and implementation guides.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 8 years of IAM platform engineering and governance experience.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience integrating business applications with IAM platforms.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience with IAM lifecycle automation and scripting.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience designing and implementing RBAC models.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing centralized Identity Providers.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience configuring SSO, MFA, and federation protocols.
  • Experience implementing SAML 2.0 and OpenID Connect (OIDC).
  • Experience integrating applications using REST APIs.
  • Experience with Privileged Access Management (PAM).
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC) implementation and operations.
  • Experience with certification campaigns and access reviews.
  • Experience with Just-in-Time (JIT) provisioning.
  • Experience with automated password rotation and credential vaulting.
  • Knowledge of enterprise identity governance best practices.
  • Experience working in large enterprise IAM environments.
