Title: Senior Power BI Consultant (Microsoft Fabric)

Duration: 6+ months contract

Location: Remote, there could be occasional travel at key times during project, Expenses Paid

Role Summary:

• Teledyne is seeking an experienced Senior Power BI Consultant to accelerate delivery of enterprise reporting and analytics during the transition to standardized Microsoft Fabric–based reporting. This is a hands-on delivery role focused on producing high quality business and executive-facing reports, supporting adoption of enterprise data models, and enabling future-state reporting standards.
• Key Responsibilities
• Design and build high-quality Power BI reports and dashboards leveraging enterprise semantic models.
• Collaborate with business users to validate metrics, layouts, usability, and executive readiness.
• Recommend and apply enterprise-wide Power BI and Fabric best practices, including performance optimization and capacity-aware design.
• Assist in enabling AI driven features (Copilot, AI insights) within reports where appropriate.
• Support the transition from legacy and gateway-based reports to Fabric-aligned reporting patterns.
• Produce clear documentation and walkthroughs to support user adoption and internal team enablement.
• Recommend and adhere to data security, governance, and reporting standards.

Required Experience:

• Strong hands-on experience delivering Power BI reports and semantic models in enterprise environments.
• Experience working with ERP-sourced data, ideally SAP, within Power BI and/or Microsoft Fabric.
• Proven track record supporting executive and operational reporting in large or federated organizations.
• Solid understanding of Power BI security options (RLS, workspace access, sharing models).
• Ability to work directly with business stakeholders and deliver polished, production-ready reporting with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with AI enabled reporting features in Power BI preferred.
