AI Engineer -

Our client is seeking a Senior AI Security Engineer for a 6 month project to design, implement, and validate security controls for leading AI-powered coding platforms. This is a high-impact opportunity to work across AI, cloud, DevSecOps, and container security while helping the organization adopt innovative development tools safely and responsibly.

• Configure and harden security controls for AI-powered coding tools, including permissions, execution restrictions, network access, credential protection, and audit logging.
  
• Integrate secure configurations with Docker containers and Azure DevOps repositories and pipelines.
  
• Assess and test controls, troubleshoot technical issues, and clearly document risks and remaining gaps.
  
• Develop practical support documentation, operating procedures, and reusable configuration guidance.
  
• Lead knowledge transfer and enable County staff to operate and maintain the controls confidently.
  
• Work with platforms such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, and Codex, including MCPs, Skills, and enterprise AI controls.
  

Requirements

• Senior-level experience with Docker configuration and container security.
  
• Hands-on expertise with Azure DevOps repositories, permissions, and pipelines.
  
• Strong Linux administration and scripting skills.
  
• Proficiency with Git and configuration management using JSON and YAML.
  
• Ability to translate complex security requirements into reliable, version-controlled configurations and clear documentation.
  

• Securing AI development and AI-assisted coding tools.
  
• Experience across Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex, or comparable platforms.
  
• Familiarity with MCPs, Skills, and enterprise controls within Claude, GPT, and Copilot ecosystems.
