Job Description
We are seeking a QA Tester Contractor to join our dynamic Deloitte project team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in manual functional testing and UAT coordination and a proven ability to plan and execute tests, document results, and partner with business and engineering teams to drive defect resolution and release quality.
Responsibilities:
- Execute test cases and document results to validate requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Identify, report, and track defects to closure using test management tools.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand features and test scope.
- Perform regression testing to ensure new changes do not impact existing functionality.
- Participate in test planning, test case design, and peer reviews.
- Facilitate and support business-led UAT activities and reporting.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Expert-level manual testing experience, including functional and regression testing.
- Demonstrated experience working with business stakeholders on UAT.
- Proficiency with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira and TestRail.
- Ability to create test plans, test cases, and test reports with clear traceability.
- Experience level: 10+ years in QA or related roles.
Preferred Skills:
- Domain exposure in e-commerce, B2B/B2C, or telecom.
- Familiarity with test automation concepts and frameworks.
