Job Description

We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer for a 24-month onsite contract supporting our client in Brooklyn, New York. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of QA automation experience, with strong hands-on expertise in Selenium WebDriver and Java

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Java.
• Build and enhance automation frameworks for web applications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and API testing.
• Create test plans, test cases, and test data based on business requirements.
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project teams to ensure application quality.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and analyze test results.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in QA and automation testing.
• Strong proficiency in Selenium WebDriver and Java.
• Experience with TestNG or JUnit and Maven or Gradle.
• Experience with API testing using REST Assured, Postman, or similar tools.
• Working knowledge of SQL for backend data validation.
• Familiarity with Git, Jenkins or Azure DevOps, and Jira or similar defect-tracking tools.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies, the software development lifecycle, and testing best practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Brooklyn, New York.
