Summary
Job Title: Product Owner / Business Analyst
Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite)

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Product Owner / Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technology teams for customer marketing, loyalty, and campaign management initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong business analysis skills, hands-on Agile Scrum experience, and expertise in customer engagement platforms, loyalty programs, and marketing campaign processes.
The candidate will work closely with business users, product teams, marketing stakeholders, and development teams to define requirements, manage product backlogs, and ensure successful delivery of customer-focused digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Product Ownership & Agile Delivery
- Act as Product Owner within Agile Scrum teams, managing and prioritizing the product backlog.
- Gather, analyze, document, and validate business requirements from stakeholders.
- Define product vision, roadmap, user stories, acceptance criteria, and business workflows.
- Participate in Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Collaborate with Scrum Masters and development teams to ensure timely delivery of features.
- Prioritize business requirements based on customer impact and business value.
Business Analysis
- Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirement gathering sessions.
- Translate complex business requirements into functional specifications and user stories.
- Create process flows, business requirement documents (BRDs), functional requirement documents (FRDs), and use cases.
- Perform gap analysis and recommend process improvements.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production deployments.
Customer Marketing & Campaign Management
- Work closely with marketing teams to support customer acquisition, retention, and engagement initiatives.
- Analyze campaign requirements and ensure successful implementation of marketing strategies.
- Support customer segmentation, targeting, and personalization efforts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve campaign effectiveness and customer experience.
Loyalty Programs
- Gather and document requirements related to loyalty programs, rewards management, customer incentives, and retention strategies.
- Partner with business stakeholders to enhance customer loyalty offerings and program performance.
- Analyze loyalty metrics and customer engagement data to drive improvements.
Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary liaison between business users and technical teams.
- Facilitate communication among product management, marketing, operations, and IT teams.
- Present business solutions, status updates, and recommendations to leadership.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst and/or Product Owner.
- Strong experience in Customer Marketing, Campaign Management, and Loyalty Programs.
- Hands-on experience working in Agile Scrum environments.
- Expertise in creating User Stories, Epics, Features, and Acceptance Criteria.
- Experience using Jira for backlog management, sprint planning, and tracking.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience conducting UAT and supporting production releases.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Retail, Banking, Financial Services, Telecommunications, or Consumer Products industries.
- Knowledge of CRM platforms and customer engagement solutions.
- Experience with marketing automation platforms.
- Familiarity with customer journey mapping and personalization strategies.
- Scrum Product Owner certification (CSPO, PSPO) is a plus.
