Azure Technical Lead – AI/GenAI

Job Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Azure Technical Lead with strong expertise across Azure Cloud Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, DevOps, and AI/GenAI application development.

The ideal candidate will design, develop, deploy, and support enterprise-grade AI solutions on Azure while bridging AI application development with cloud infrastructure, security, DevOps, and production operations.

Key Responsibilities

Azure Cloud & Platform Engineering

• Design and implement scalable and secure Azure architectures for AI workloads.
• Build and manage Azure infrastructure and platform services.
• Deploy applications using AKS, Azure App Service, Azure Functions, and Azure Container Apps.
• Design Azure networking using VNets, private endpoints, and network isolation.
• Implement Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, Managed Identities, Key Vault, encryption, and secrets management.
• Monitor and support enterprise Azure environments.

AI / GenAI Development

• Develop and productionize AI/GenAI applications using Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI Search, and Azure AI Document Intelligence.
• Design and implement RAG pipelines, prompt orchestration, vector search, and LLM-based solutions.
• Develop AI applications using Python, .NET/C#, Java, or Node.js/TypeScript.
• Integrate AI solutions with enterprise APIs, applications, data platforms, and business systems.

DevOps & Infrastructure as Code

• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Automate application, infrastructure, configuration, prompt, and model deployments.
• Provision Azure resources using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Establish deployment standards, automation, testing, security scanning, and release governance.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on Azure Cloud Infrastructure / Platform Engineering experience.
• Strong Azure DevOps / DevOps / CI/CD experience.
• Experience with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM.
• Strong experience with AKS / Kubernetes / Docker.
• Strong Azure networking experience, including VNets and private endpoints.
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, Managed Identity, and Key Vault.
• Azure monitoring and production support experience.
• Hands-on Azure OpenAI / Azure AI experience.
• Strong GenAI / LLM / RAG experience.
• Experience with Azure AI Search.
• Experience with Azure AI Foundry.
• Experience with Azure AI Document Intelligence.
• Strong programming experience in Python, .NET/C#, Java, or Node.js/TypeScript.
• Insurance experience is preferred; P&C experience is a plus.
