Role: Android Developer with Agentic AI, Telecom Domain exp (W2 – Requirement)

Location: Irving, TX (Onsite)

Duration: Long-term contract

Key Responsibilities

Android Development: Develop and maintain high-quality, native Android applications using modern software architecture (MVVM, MVI) and Jetpack Compose.

Agentic AI Integration: Implement AI agents that autonomously plan, reason, and take action to solve user tasks within the app.

Tool Execution Engine: Build the runtime infrastructure that connects the app to AI agents, including function calling, Tool-use, and managing conversation context.

Backend Communication: Develop and integrate Kotlin coroutines for asynchronous programming and efficient communication with AI-enabled backend services via REST APIs.

Data Handling: Leverage unstructured data from internal services to feed AI models.

Performance & Testing: Write unit tests (JUnit, Mockito) and UI tests (Espresso) to ensure reliability of both AI-driven features and standard UI components.

What You''ll Need to Have

10+ years of IT experience.

• Bachelor''s degree or 4 or more years of work experience.
• Native Android development experience using Kotlin.
• Familiarity with GenAI, chatbots, or AI programming tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot).
• Strong knowledge of Android Jetpack components, data structures, and MVVM/MVI architectures.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and network libraries (Retrofit, OKHTTP).
