Summary

We're seeking an experienced Epic Ambulatory Analyst for a 6-month engagement starting ASAP. This hybrid role includes about 20% on-site travel (must be able to come into office within 48 hours); the remainder is remote.

Position Summary:

The Epic Ambulatory Analyst will play a key role in supporting ongoing Epic initiatives through expert analysis, configuration, and cross-functional collaboration. This position requires demonstrated experience with Epic Ambulatory and related clinical applications, along with the ability to facilitate requirements gathering and translate complex workflows into actionable system specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in planning, design, build, and testing phases across multiple Epic implementation cycles.
  • Collaborate with clinical and technical teams to define business and process requirements.
  • Prepare detailed documentation including functional specifications, process models, and workflow charts.
  • Lead meetings and workgroups, manage stakeholder expectations, and coordinate with IT leadership and project managers.

Qualifications:
  • Epic Ambulatory certification required; additional Epic module certifications (such as Stork, Beacon, OpTime, Anesthesia, Radiant, Cupid, Willow, ASAP, EpicCare Link, Kaleidoscope, MyChart, or HomeHealth) strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience with Epic EMR and/or other clinical applications.
  • Experience with at least two full life-cycle implementations preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree with five years of relevant healthcare IT experience, or Master's/advanced clinical degree with two years of experience in requirements solicitation and management.
