  • Learn, apply, and help enforce established government SEIT processes and procedures in support of MILSATCOM and NC3 Operations & Sustainment (O&S) activities
  • Develop, analyze, and maintain systems engineering documentation, requirements, and capability artifacts to support continuous readiness and alignment with mission objectives
  • Manage and maintain technical baselines for legacy and transitioning space based telecommunications systems using proven SEIT methodologies
  • Apply Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) frameworks and DoW acquisition best practices to daily program operations, advancing strategic and tactical MILSATCOM capabilities
  • Serve as a proactive, self directed engineer capable of autonomous learning and growth in a collaborative small team environment
  • Tackle technical challenges and help drive executable, field ready solutions for both legacy and evolving systems
  • Support the Sustainment Integrated Product Team (IPT) to enhance Joint and Allied combat readiness across MILSATCOM and NC3 systems, terminals, and software applications
  • Travel up to 20% to CONUS and OCONUS locations as directed by the government customer

Required Qualifications:
  • Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. citizenship is mandatory). A clearance active within the last 24 months is considered current.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, mathematics, physics, computer science or equivalent technical discipline from an accredited university
  • 5 years experience in SE&I associated with system acquisitions and/or O&S
  • Expertise with requirements development and analysis and the development of systems engineering-related documents
  • Knowledge of Agile software development processes and applications (i.e., Jira/Confluence)
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective interpersonal and team-player skills
  • Clear and concise written, verbal communications and presentation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of experience in a DoW program office with an understanding of DoW acquisition processes
  • 6+ years of experience working with strategic & tactical MILSATCOM space systems
  • Experience working in a CMMI environment
  • Possess knowledge of Agile software development processes and applications (e.g., Jira/Confluence)
  • Direct experience with Change Management and Configuration Management (CM) processes
  • Possess Project Management Institute (PMI) Program Management Professional (PMP) certification.
