Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Connexall Middleware Engineer for an immediate temporary engagement. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience with Connexall, middleware integrations, and clinical communication platforms within a healthcare environment.
This role requires someone who can quickly understand existing integration workflows, support clinical communication systems, troubleshoot middleware issues, and work closely with technical and clinical teams to ensure reliable message delivery across hospital systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, support, and troubleshoot Connexall middleware integrations across clinical and healthcare communication platforms.
Configure and maintain Connexall workflows, alerts, notifications, routing rules, and escalation paths.
Integrate Connexall with clinical systems such as nurse call, patient monitoring, EHR/EMR platforms, alarms, paging, mobile devices, and other hospital communication tools.
Analyze and resolve middleware issues related to message flow, connectivity, interface errors, system performance, and alert delivery.
Work with HL7, API-based integrations, TCP/IP, and other healthcare interface standards as needed.
Collaborate with clinical, infrastructure, networking, application, and vendor teams to support production environments.
Perform testing, validation, documentation, and deployment support for new or existing Connexall integrations.
Provide immediate support for urgent issues and ensure minimal disruption to clinical communication workflows.
Required Skills:
Prior hands-on experience with Connexall is required.
Strong experience with middleware integrations in a healthcare or clinical environment.
Experience supporting clinical communication platforms, alerting systems, nurse call systems, or alarm management systems.
Knowledge of healthcare integration standards such as HL7, interfaces, APIs, and message routing.
Strong troubleshooting skills across applications, middleware, network connectivity, and system interfaces.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, urgent engagement.
Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with technical and clinical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with hospital systems, patient monitoring platforms, nurse call systems, paging systems, or mobile clinical communication tools.
Familiarity with EHR/EMR integrations such as Epic, Cerner, or similar platforms.
Experience working with healthcare IT vendors and clinical operations teams.
Understanding of production support, change management, and incident resolution processes.
