Project Manager - Facilities & IT Infrastructure (Multi-Site Moves)
Location: 100% Remote
Duration: Contract through 2026, potential to extend
Compensation: 60-65/hr
About the Role
Our client is undertaking a portfolio of facility relocations, consolidations, and new-build projects across the U.S., and we're looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the IT workstream for these initiatives. This role sits at the intersection of IT, Facilities, Operations, Real Estate, and our Strategic Program Office (SPO)-ideal for someone who thrives in complex, cross-functional environments.
You will manage multiple projects simultaneously, ranging from small infrastructure moves to large-scale communication center buildouts.
What You'll Do
Lead the IT implementation for facility moves, consolidations, closures, and new-builds across multiple U.S. locations.
Coordinate with IT infrastructure, networking, telecom, security, field techs, facilities, operations, and real estate teams.
Oversee buildouts of IT rooms, low-voltage cabling, circuits, network equipment, and technology required for communication/dispatch centers.
Manage vendor coordination, construction timelines, and technology installation schedules.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including action items, timelines, dependencies, and ownership.
Track and manage project budgets, including forecasting, cost control, and reporting to budget owners.
Maintain and report on project schedules, milestones, risks, and progress.
Manage ServiceNow project demands and assign tasks to IT resources for accurate time tracking.
Provide clear communication and updates to all stakeholders, including meeting notes, status reports, and financial summaries.
Ensure alignment with PMO governance, financial standards, and organizational processes.
What We're Looking For
Proven experience managing complex facility moves, IT infrastructure deployments, or multi-site buildouts.
Strong understanding of low-voltage systems, network concepts, and IT room requirements.
Demonstrated ability to manage project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
Skilled in coordinating cross-functional teams and external vendors.
Excellent communication and documentation skills-able to keep diverse stakeholders aligned.
Experience with ServiceNow for project/task tracking is a plus.
Background in communications centers, dispatch environments, or healthcare is highly desirable.
Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities.
