Position Overview

IRG Clients is seeking an experienced and motivated Scrum Master to support a growing portfolio of operational and project initiatives. This is a newly created position designed to improve efficiency, accountability, collaboration, and delivery across Agile teams.

The ideal candidate will facilitate Agile Scrum processes, remove impediments, and ensure teams can effectively deliver high-quality solutions on time and within scope. This role will work closely with Product Owners, stakeholders, developers, and cross-functional teams while promoting a culture of continuous improvement and Agile best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate and coordinate Agile Scrum ceremonies including:
  • Daily stand-ups
  • Sprint planning
  • Backlog refinement
  • Sprint reviews
  • Sprint retrospectives
• Guide teams in applying Scrum principles, Agile methodologies, and best practices.
• Remove blockers and impediments to ensure smooth project execution.
• Promote continuous improvement through retrospectives, coaching, and feedback sessions.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners and stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities and deliverables.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks/issues, and communicate status updates to stakeholders.
• Track KPIs and team performance metrics to support successful product delivery.
• Support hybrid project management environments combining Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Mentor and coach teams to foster collaboration, accountability, and Agile maturity.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience working as a Scrum Master.
• 3+ years of experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies and Agile processes.
• 3+ years of experience with Azure DevOps.
• 3+ years of experience with Agile project management tools.
• 3+ years of experience working in hybrid project environments (Agile + Waterfall).
• 3+ years of experience with database querying and programming.
• Strong understanding of Agile Scrum principles and methodologies.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Bachelor’s degree (completed and verifiable).

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent Agile certification.
• Government/public sector experience.
• ERP project experience.
