Project Overview

We are seeking experienced Integrations and Data Migration Developers to support a large-scale enterprise application implementation project within a complex local government environment. The selected candidates will work closely with software developers, business analysts, project managers, stakeholders, and software vendors to support application implementation efforts through data migration, integrations development, and technical analysis.

This role involves data analysis, data cleanup, ETL development, integrations, and ensuring seamless system interoperability throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise along with the ability to understand business processes and translate requirements into effective technical solutions.

Required Experience & Skills

• 7+ years of experience delivering complex IT software projects
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and technical documentation abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams
• Strong attention to detail and quality assurance mindset
• Experience with Oracle PL/SQL or SQL Server development
• Strong understanding of data modeling and database architecture
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools and data integration platforms
• Experience working with REST/SOAP APIs and JSON/XML
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data migration processes
• Develop and optimize ETL workflows for extracting, transforming, and loading data
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy throughout migration activities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and validate data mappings
• Troubleshoot and resolve migration-related issues, including performance tuning and error handling
• Document technical specifications, migration strategies, and post-migration validations
• Develop, test, and maintain integration components using appropriate programming languages and tools
• Work closely with stakeholders, business analysts, and software vendors to ensure successful integrations
• Monitor and troubleshoot integration processes to ensure system stability and uptime
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of integration processes, tools, and technologies

Minimum Education & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Minimum 7 years of experience in database development or software development
• Additional relevant software development experience may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis
