Required Qualifications to be Successful in the Role:
. Strong experience with C# and .NET development
. Experience working with legacy ASP.NET applications, including Web Forms and/or MVC
. Strong hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
. Experience remediating accessibility issues in web applications
. Working knowledge of WCAG 2.1 and/or 2.2 and Section 508 requirements
. Ability to diagnose and resolve issues involving keyboard accessibility, screen readers, forms, tables, dialogs, and dynamic UI components
. Familiarity with GitHub or similar source control platforms
. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and standard deployment practices
. Experience working in Agile development environments
. Ability to diagnose and resolve issues involving keyboard accessibility, screen readers, forms, tables, dialogs, and dynamic UI components
. Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills
Desired Skills:
. Experience with ARIA authoring practices and accessible UI design patterns . Experience with accessibility testing tools such as Axe, WAVE, Accessibility Insights, or similar . Familiarity with screen readers such as JAWS, NVDA, or VoiceOver . Experience in enterprise or regulated environments . Experience with SQL Server, IIS, GitHub, and Azure DevOps . Experience with automated regression testing or UI test automation . Experience working in legacy codebases with limited documentation
