Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) Administrator to manage, monitor, and optimize Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) environments. The ideal candidate will have strong Oracle Database Administration skills, hands-on experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control (OEM 13c/24ai), and expertise in monitoring, patching, automation, and performance tuning across enterprise Oracle environments. Oracle Enterprise Manager provides centralized monitoring, lifecycle management, and automation for Oracle databases, middleware, engineered systems, and hybrid cloud deployments.
Required Skills
- 8+ years of Oracle Database Administration experience.
- 5+ years of Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM Cloud Control 13c/24ai) experience.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Database 12c/19c/21c.
- Experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and RMAN.
- Experience with Oracle WebLogic Server and Oracle Fusion Middleware.
- Strong SQL, PL/SQL, Shell, or Python scripting skills.
- Linux/Unix administration experience.
- Experience with OEM EMCLI and automation.
- Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is a plus.
- Experience with Oracle Exadata is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).
- Monitor Oracle databases, middleware, applications, and infrastructure using OEM.
- Configure alerts, monitoring templates, dashboards, and notifications.
- Perform database performance monitoring and tuning.
- Manage Oracle agents and OEM repositories.
- Automate patching, provisioning, cloning, and lifecycle management using OEM.
- Configure backup and recovery monitoring with RMAN.
- Support RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and Exadata environments.
- Create custom monitoring metrics and compliance reports.
- Troubleshoot OEM, database, and agent-related issues.
- Implement security best practices, user roles, and access controls.
- Work with application, infrastructure, and cloud teams to ensure high availability.
- Prepare operational documentation and knowledge-transfer materials.
Preferred Qualifications
- Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Oracle Certified Master (OCM).
- Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- Knowledge of DevOps tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, Git, or Terraform.
- Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow.
- Familiarity with enterprise monitoring tools like Splunk or Grafana.
