Senior AWS Data Architect

Requirement/Must Have:

• Strong knowledge of AWS ecosystem including Redshift, Glue, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, EMR, Athena, and Kinesis.
• Experience with big data frameworks such as Spark, Kafka, and Hive.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data engineering tasks.
• Hands-on experience with data lakehouse and medallion architecture.
• Strong background in data modeling, ETL/ELT design, and performance optimization.
• 8 12 years of experience in data architecture.
• At least 5 years of experience in cloud-native solutions.
• Proven track record of leading enterprise-scale data modernization projects.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

• Experience designing cloud-native data architectures including data lakes, data warehouses, and lakehouse models.
• Experience defining best practices for data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
• Experience establishing data modeling standards and metadata management.
• Experience ensuring compliance with data security, privacy, and governance policies.
• Experience driving modernization initiatives from legacy systems to AWS.
• Experience working with multi-cloud environments preferred.
• Experience with AI/ML-driven data pipelines preferred.

• Design and implement scalable cloud-native data architectures.
• Define and enforce best practices for data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
• Establish and maintain data modeling standards and metadata management frameworks.
• Ensure compliance with governance, security, and privacy policies.
• Partner with business leaders to align data strategies with organizational goals.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize pipelines and analytics workloads.
• Drive adoption of emerging technologies and modern data platforms.
• Lead migration and modernization initiatives from legacy systems to AWS.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to data engineers and architects.
• Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders on cloud data strategy.

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or AWS Certified Data Analytics Specialty.
• Experience with Azure Databricks or Google Cloud Platform BigQuery.
• Exposure to emerging technologies such as GenAI-driven workloads.

• Strong cloud data architecture expertise.

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
