Skills:
Strong understanding of AWS infrastructure and services, including VPC, EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM, and related components. Required 7 Years
Experience in CI/CD tools such as GHA, Jenkins, TeamCity, or Azure Devops. Must have development experience of these tools from the ground up. Required 7 Years
Experience in Git based devsecops including branching strategy, branch protection rules, source code hygiene by automation, and release strategy. Required 3 Years
Proficiency with containerization and orchestration technologies (OpenShift/ROSA, Kubernetes, Docker). Required 2 Years
Leading and guiding cloud operation Team on AWS platform. Required 3 Years
Hands-on experience in programming languages like Java, .Net . Required 2 Years

Description:
The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) requires the assistance of a Senior DevOps engineer to help automate and improve the infrastructure/environment provisioning, optimize cloud resources and provide software solutions for the Portfolio.
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to drive automation, optimization, and modern infrastructure engineering across our cloud environments. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient cloudbased solutions using modern technologies and automation frameworks.
Responsibilities:
Lead automation initiatives for infrastructure and environment provisioning using tools such as Ansible,CloudFormation, Terraform, and related technologies.
Perform cloud resource optimization with a focus on AWS cost efficiency and performance improvements.
Support containerization and orchestration efforts using platforms such as OpenShift/ROSA, Kubernetes, andDocker.
Engineer and deliver cloudnative software solutions on AWS and Azure.
Work with Generative AI services and frameworks within cloud environments, including AWS Bedrock,Claude, Amazon Q, and related technologies.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure secure, reliable, and highperforming cloud solutions.
Participate in an oncall rotation, including evenings and weekends, as required to support business operations.
This position requires
Proven experience as a Solutions Engineer or similar role, with handson expertise in designing and implementing cloudbased solutions.
Strong understanding of AWS infrastructure and services, including VPC, EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM, and related components.
Experience with automation and IaC tools (Ansible, CloudFormation, Terraform).
Proficiency with containerization and orchestration technologies (OpenShift/ROSA, Kubernetes,Docker).
Familiarity with Generative AI tools and services in cloud environments (AWS Bedrock, Claude, Amazon Q, etc.).
Experience engineering solutions on AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and support critical systems during offhours when needed.
