Workday Developer FINS architecture

Need someone from financial module background like GENERAL LEDGER, ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE and ACCOUNTS PAYABLE.

Should have Platform, Security, Extend, Prism.

Notes: The project is for migrating current Peoplesoft Finance to Workday.

This is more of technical role and not a functional one.

Candidate will be working on Workday more from Platform ,Security, Extend, Prism perspective and also building custom reports and dashboards.
Looking for a senior level resource to guide the team. The current team doesn't have workday expertise.

They need guidance from Infra, security perspective. KPMG is the implementation partner.

The candidate needs to work with them. Understand Pros and Cons of what they suggest.

Again they are looking for a senior professional for automation and building futuristic solutions.

Interview Process : 3 member interview panel over Zoom for 1 hour.

Cloud experience: Some exposure to Cloud is required. Not an extensive experience.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking WorkDay Sr Architect/Senior Platform Engineers who are passionate about developing highly-resilient, fundamentally-sound objects to support the core Finance technology driving Capital One. As part of a team that s leading the next wave of disruption on a whole new scale, you will play an integral part in advancing Capital One s Finance Technology ecosystem and culture of technical excellence. You will champion automation of functional and technical processes/platforms and bring your expertise to drive innovative design & solutions.

General Responsibilities:

• Work with Tech Lead and product owners to understand desired WorkDay Finance module, application capabilities and testing scenarios
• Understand and translate the priorities of the business while integrating Finance value proposition and strategies to meet the needs of the business
• Design and deliver solutions in Workday platform with modules for extensions , Prism , Extend & Integrations across the Finance modules of General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Expenses, Global Consolidation, Invoices, Payments and Suppliers through efficient and organized processes while maintaining high standards
• Effectively communicate across team, Product Owner, stakeholders and influence solutions across business partners
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, collaborate with Finance partners to provide innovative ideas and insights to redesign business processes that will optimize business results.
• Continually research, test and stay up-to-date on Workday Technology & Platform updates, fixes and capabilities
• Build & maintain thorough documentation for system implementation & maintenance
• Primary contact for questions related to how the system works from a business and a technical perspective
• Provide production support for Workday by troubleshooting problems, testing, and working with the business to resolve issues

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree & at least 9+ years experience in WorkDay FINS architecture and platform engineering on Finance platforms (Prior Peoplesoft experience is plus)
• At least 7 years of experience designing and developing integration solutions
• At least 7 years of experience working with APIs within the Workday environment using REST or SOAP
• 9+ years of experience working with Workday platform with modules for extensions , Prism , Extend & Integrations across the Finance modules of General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Expenses, Global Consolidation, Invoices, Payments and Suppliers
• 5+ years of experience designing and developing integration solutions in Workday using Core Connectors, Prism, Extend, Workday Studio, Custom Reports or RaaS solutions
• 7+ years of experience working with APIs within the Workday environment using REST or SOAP
• Workday Integration Developer certifications
• 4+ years designing and developing solutions using Workday Extend
• 5+ years of experience with AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure or another cloud service
• 5+ years of experience in Agile practices
