Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated AWS Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS services and cloud architecture, with a proven track record of implementing and managing cloud-based solutions.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, implement, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure
2. Develop and optimize cloud-native applications using AWS services
3. Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards
4. Automate infrastructure deployment and management using tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK
5. Monitor and optimize cloud resource utilization and costs
6. Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in cloud environments
7. Collaborate with development teams to implement CI/CD pipelines
8. Stay current with the latest AWS services and best practices
9. Mentor team members and contribute to knowledge sharing

Requirements:

1. 7-10 years of experience required
2. 3-5 years of experience working with AWS services
3. Strong understanding of AWS core services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, etc.)
4. Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform)
5. Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Go)
6. Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
7. Knowledge of networking concepts and security best practices
8. Experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies
9. Experience with prompt engineering and applied AI (including agentic AI) to automate workflows and improve engineering efficiency in cloud environments.
10. Understanding of monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., CloudWatch, Dynatrace)
11. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
12. AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Associate) preferred

Preferred Skills:

1. Knowledge of server and database technologies
2. Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools
3. Experience with serverless services and architecture
4. Understanding of high availability and disaster recovery concepts
5. Experience with performance tuning and optimization in cloud environments
