As a Project Manager for Multifamily Projects, you will be at the helm of exciting and complex construction assignments. Our company is well-established in the construction industry, with a rich history of successful multifamily projects. We offer a dynamic, fast-paced work environment where each day brings new challenges and opportunities. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with significant experience in commercial construction. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project management, from planning and budgeting to execution and completion.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage multifamily construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, detailing the project's scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget, and timeline.
  • Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring that all tasks are carried out according to plan.
  • Review work progress on a daily basis and make necessary adjustments to ensure the successful completion of the project.
  • Maintain constant communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on the project's status.
  • Ensure that all legal requirements, building and safety codes, safety inspections, city guidelines, and local and state regulations are met.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks, identifying potential issues and proactively proposing solutions.
  • Foster relationships with clients, architects, and subcontractors to establish a reliable network and ensure future business opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction, with a focus on multifamily projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from start to finish.
  • Excellent knowledge of building and construction materials, processes, and equipment.
  • Strong understanding of construction laws and regulations.
  • Exceptional leadership and project management skills, with the ability to lead a team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Proficient in construction management software programs.
  • PMP or equivalent certification would be considered an asset.
