Belcan is excited to be helping our client in hiring a SR. CSA Designer in Baytown!
Title: SR. CSA Designer
Location: Baytown (in office three days a week, work from home the other two)
Position Purpose:
* Professional with high technical competency who participates in CSA projects and designers' teams.
* Influences direction of complex brownfield projects and communicates with CSA department peers, with other engineering disciplines personnel and project managers.
* Participates on projects in size up to $25mm.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Experience in an industrial manufacturing facility.
* Experience with Structural design practices and materials (ie. steel, concrete).
* Experience with Civil design practices and materials (ie. Subsurface pipes, paving, drainage, etc.).
* Understanding of Industry design codes (i.e. ASCE, AISC, ACI, PIP, AASHTO etc.), or building code requirements (i.e. IBC).
* Education: High school diploma, associate degree, or technical training.
* Valid TWIC Card (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) or ability to obtain within 3 weeks upon employment initiation.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities
* Construction administration experience is desirable.
* Knowledge of AutoCAD, Smart Plant 3D and SPR.
* Ability to perform field work, basic surveying, and inspection work in process areas.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Attention to detail and accuracy.
