Summary

Job Title: Procedure/Technical Writer
Location: Rosemead, California (On-Site)

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to produce accurate and field-ready technical documentation, supporting operational excellence and consistency. Our team values expertise in capturing, refining, and maintaining complex processes in a format that is practical and accessible for a broad range of stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, draft, and maintain process maps, business process procedures, standard operating procedures (SOPs), job aids, performance support notebooks, and manual updates such as technical and safety manuals.
  • Schedule and facilitate working sessions with subject matter experts, reviewers, and advisors to gather technical input, operational insights, and capture consensus for documentation.
  • Conduct research and analysis to integrate policy, vendor materials, presentations, and SME input into standardized documentation templates, and validate the accuracy of deliverables before seeking approval.
  • Collaborate with advisors, project leads, stakeholders, and project managers to provide status updates, uphold governance and approval workflows, and perform on-site visits as needed to observe work practices and enhance documentation quality.

Required:

  • Proven experience in producing technical, procedural, or process documentation with the ability to translate complex technical input into clear, field-usable language.
  • 5 8+ years of technical writing experience, or 3 5+ years of technical writing experience with strong exposure to utilities, energy, construction, manufacturing, or industrial environments.
  • Strong facilitation skills for working sessions and experience working collaboratively across organizational units.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Photo Editing Software, SharePoint, OneDrive, Acrobat, Outlook, TEAMs, Visio, and Co-Pilot.
