Role- IBM MQ administrator from Mainframe side
Location- Houston, TX
Job Description:
- Administer and support IBM MQ on z/OS (Mainframe) including installation, configuration, queue manager setup, channels, queues, and ongoing maintenance.
- Monitor and troubleshoot MQ infrastructure for performance, connectivity, message flow, queue issues, and production incidents across enterprise environments.
- Manage MQ security and compliance using RACF, access controls, SSL/TLS configuration, and adherence to enterprise security standards.
- Perform deployment, upgrades, and disaster recovery activities including MQ version upgrades, backup/recovery, capacity planning, and high availability setup.
- Collaborate with application, middleware, and infrastructure teams to support integration requirements, resolve issues, and ensure stable message processing on Mainframe platforms.
Mandatory Skills: IBM MQ, z/OS, JCL, RACF, TSO/ISPF, SDSF, Mainframe Operations, MQ Monitoring & Troubleshooting.
