Job Title: Senior Full Stack Developer (React & Java)

Role Summary

Seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in ReactJS and Java (8 & 21) to build scalable, cloud-native applications using microservices architecture and modern DevOps practices.
This role involves working in the Banking domain, supporting multiple applications, and requires the ability to handle multiple issues/requests concurrently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop full stack applications using ReactJS and Java (Spring Boot / Spring Cloud)
  • Design and build REST APIs and microservices
  • Implement event-driven solutions using Kafka and JMS
  • Work with JPA/Hibernate for data persistence
  • Develop high-performance, multi-threaded applications
  • Deploy and manage applications on Azure
  • Apply TDD practices and maintain high code quality
  • Build and support CI/CD pipelines
  • Collaborate with multiple clients and cross-functional teams
Required Skills
  • Frontend: ReactJS, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML/CSS
  • Backend: Java 8 & 21, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud
  • Data: JPA, Hibernate, SQL
  • Messaging: Kafka, JMS
  • Concurrency: Multi-threading, performance tuning
  • Cloud/DevOps: Azure deployments, CI/CD (Azure DevOps/Jenkins)
  • Testing: TDD, JUnit, Mockito
Preferred
  • Microservices and distributed systems
  • Docker/Kubernetes
  • Monitoring tools (Dynatrace/App Insights)
  • Experience working across multiple clients

Salary Range:
$99,600 - 169,200 USD

Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension), health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, spending accounts and disability), paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits.
